Christmas Gifts of Cheer
Could you support our Christmas campaign of bringing cheer to an older person facing loneliness and isolation?
We are looking for individuals and groups to help this Christmas by gifting and delivering items and gift hampers to local care homes.
Ideas for gift items:
- Adult colouring books
- Colouring pens/pencils/painting sets
- Large print word search/puzzle books
- Jigsaw puzzles (up to 500 pieces – large size pieces)
- Games (eg playing cards, simple board games)
- Toiletries (eg hand cream, shower gel, flannels) Clothing items (eg socks, pyjamas) and blankets
- Handmade items – please get in touch with us for details of items which would be suitable

How to get involved with our Christmas Gifts of Cheer project
Decorate a box using paint, colour pens, stickers or whatever you like to make it cheerful, festive and fun. Or alternatively you could use a gift bag (but we ask that you don’t wrap individual items please).
Fill your box or gift bag with donations (see poster for ideas of gift items).
Contact us and we can let you know contact details of a care home local to you where you can deliver your gifts.
Embracing Age will send a certificate of participation to you/your group to thank you and celebrate your kindness.
