Could You Send A Postcard To A Care Home Resident This Summer?
Share your days out, holiday destinations, favourite summer pastimes or ideas for a dream holiday to brighten their day and evoke travel memories.
3 steps to bringing joy & happy memories to care homes & helping residents feel connected to the wider world:
- Buy a postcard or make one from your photos (places only – no people’s faces please), using pictures from magazines, or draw paint your own. The pictures could be of a place you have visited or a place you dream of visiting, summer activities you like doing or things that evoke memories of summer.
- Write a short message, for example about the place or pastime on your postcard, a memory of summer or about what summer means to you.
- Then contact us and we can let you know where to send your postcards.
